Explanation of why the Mirra.com web service has been deactivated.

Why is the Mirra.com web service being shut down?
The Mirra Personal Server was founded in 2002. The free Mirra.com web service has been superseded by a much newer generation of web services that will function with the latest Seagate-branded NAS (network-attached storage) products.
Unfortunately, the technology and design of the Mirra for the time cannot be transitioned to work with the newer generation of web services.

Will my Mirra still be able to backup my data on my local network after the Mirra Service has been shut down?
Yes. The ability to perform backups and to share and sync folders on the local network to other computers should not be compromised.

Will support for the Mirra product still be available after the Mirra Service has been shut down?
Yes. Limited support for the Mirra Server will still be available related to local backup and restore.
