As the below graphic makes clear, the FreeAgent GoFlex TV product features an integrated GoFlex drive slot (also known as a drive bay), into which a GoFlex or GoFlex Pro drive can slide to connect. The GoFlex TV drive slot only supports 14.5mm-thick GoFlex models. GoFlex 22mm-thick models will need to be plugged into the USB connector, rather than in the drive bay.
Not all GoFlex drives will fit into the slot. These are the drive models that will fit.

Other drive models will not fit into the slot and will need to be connected to the GoFlex TV via the side-mounted USB port or the USB port on the rear. Either of these additional USB ports provide enough power to operate a 2.5-inch, USB-only-powered drive such as a GoFlex, GoFlex Pro, or FreeAgent Go drive. And of course, external USB desktop drives using a power cord will also function in this side- or rear-mounted USB port.
