Instructions for installing Seagate Dashboard on a Windows computer for use with the GoFlex Home and GoFlex external drives.

This article will explain how to install Seagate Dashboard on a Windows PC. The following steps guide you through the installation of Seagate Dashboard in Windows.

  1. Upon the connection of your GoFlex unit, an AutoPlay window opens.
  2. If not already highlighted, select Install and click OK. At this point the Dashboard software prepares the InstallShield Wizard.
  3. From the Installer Language screen, select the desired language from the drop down menu and press OK.

  4. Select Next on the Setup Wizard Welcome Screen.

  5. Select the country for the correct End Users License Agreement and press Next.

  6. Review the License Agreement and check the "I Accept the terms of the License Agreement", then select Next to continue.

  7. Select the desired software to install and any desired free trial software. Select Install to continue.

  8. If not previously loaded, Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 and 3.0 will install to your computer. Follow the onscreen prompts to complete its installation. When .NET is installed, select Finish to launch the Seagate Dashboard.
