FreeAgent Desktop 1.5 Backup: Where Backups are Located Through Windows

The following shows you how to locate Backups on FreeAgent Desktop drives connected to Windows Systems.
  1. Browse your Windows System:
  2. For Windows XP - Open My Computer
  3. For Windows Vista - Open Computer
    Note: Various methods are are available for browsing your system. Refer to your operating system documentation for available options or view the Video Tutorials below for examples.
    Once open, double-click on the drive letter/icon associated with the FreeAgent Desktop 1.5Drive. An Explorer window opens showing the contents of the FreeAgent Desktop 1.5drive.
  4. Your backed up data is located in the Drive Backup folder.
  5. Open the Drive Backup folder. The folder structure starts at the top with a parent folder that is named after your computername. Inside this folder, you will find the following sub-folders:
    • C - The folder containing the most recent, backed up data from the C: Drive of your Windows System
    • History - Historical File Versions of files from previous backups
