The question refers to the files that are saved on OneTouch 4 Plus and mini drives from the factory.
These files are on the OneTouch drive so that you can install the software on your computer(s) as you like. The software is not essential to the use of the drive; it is simply the backup, sync, and drive feature management software.
If the software is not installed, the drive will be a simple data storage volume, which is fine. It will appear as a drive letter such as E: or G: (as in the image above). You may copy data to it by copy-and-paste or by drag-and-drop actions.
You may of course install the software on your computer(s) and then move these pre-existing files into a new folder on the OneTouch 4 drive, or even on your computer's internal hard drive. Or you may delete the files (though they are so small, we recommend keeping them around).
Finally, if you have deleted these files, they are available for download (onto any computer) at the OneTouch 4 download page.
