The following provides the steps necessary to install the OneTouch 4 Software on your Windows XP/Vista Computer:

1. Connect your OneTouch 4 drive to your computer. The AutoPlay window opens.
2. Click Run Launch.exe.
   Note: In the Event that either AutoPlay is disabled on your computer or the Autoplay window fails to open:
   • Open My Computer for Windows XP or Computer for Windows Vista
   • Browse to the drive letter associated with your OneTouch 4 drive
   • Double-click on Launch.exe
   The Main Menu window opens.
3. Click Install Maxtor OneTouch. During the installation, a Flash Movie plays ...this is normal
   Note to Windows Vista Users: A User Account Control window opens asking for your permission to continue. Click Continue. The Welcome window opens.
4. Click Next. The License Agreement window opens.
5. Click Yes to accept the terms of the License Agreement. The Choose Destination Location window opens.
6. Accept the default destination folder or click Browse to select a different folder. Click Next. A Setup Status window keeps you informed as the installation proceeds.
7. When the installation is complete, a Register window opens. Click Register to register your OneTouch 4 drive now or click Next to conclude the installation. The InstallShield Wizard Complete window opens.
8. Decide whether to restart your computer and complete the installation now and click Finish.
