Use the Maxtor OneTouch feature to make backup copies of your files on two or more computers. Make sure that the name of the “Source” drive (the one you are making backup copies from) is unique for each computer. This is because the backup copies are kept in a folder (on the Destination drive) that is named after the Source drive.
Windows – repeat for each computer system

Open the My Computer icon on your desktop

Right click on the drive you are making backup copies from (the Source drive) and select the Properties option from the menu that appears.

A Properties window appears, enter a unique name in the field called Label, then click OK to close this window.
Macintosh – repeat for each computer system

Select the drive (volume) you are making backup copies from (the Source drive) and click on its name to edit the name (note that the first seven characters of the name must be unique for each system)
Note Your copy of Retrospect Express is licensed for one system, you must purchase additional copies of Retrospect Express for each additional system you install the software.
