Troubleshooting an offline Lyve Home or Studio

It's very important that your Lyve Home, Lyve Studio, or other Lyve devices remain online in order to create a complete backup of all of your memories. Once the backup process is complete, the Lyve app will let you know with an in-app notification. But if you're having difficulty accessing your Lyve device(s), here are a few simple steps to take.

Check the network status of your Lyve device:

  • Launch the Lyve app on your device and tap on the Menu icon (three bars in the upper left corner).
  • Tap Status and look for your Lyve device. Does it say that it’s Offline or Online?

If you see that your Lyve device is listed as Online, you're good to go!

If your Lyve device is listed as Offline within the Status page, the Lyve app should prompt you with a notice that Lyve isn't seeing that particular device. Read on for some easy troubleshooting steps to try.

Rebooting an offline Lyve Home or Studio:

The easiest step to take first is to simply restart the Lyve Home or Studio by unplugging the power supply from the back of the device. Wait a few seconds, then plug it back in. After a minute or two, your Lyve Home or Studio should come back online.
