Understanding your Lyve Account

Sure, you can log in to your Lyve Account page online via a web browser to check the status of your account, but what do all of those colors and symbols mean? Let's take a look.

At the top of the page is where you'll find a general summary of your account status:

Just below that, you'll see your Lyve backup devices, like any Lyve Homes, Studios, or Lyve Drives you've added to your account. Remember, if you don't have one of those devices, you can still use the free Lyve app!

If there are any issues with your Lvye device (like if it's gone offline, or is close to running out of available space) you'll see some messaging indicating what is going on.

At a glance, you can see if a particular device is on- or off-line. The color orange indicates that the device is online and communicating with Lyve:

Looks like the person above should launch Lyve on their Nexus 5 and iPad! Wouldn't hurt to do the same on that iPhone, too.


Generally, all is well with your account unless you see a red icon or exclamation mark - those are indicators that something needs your attention. Even if you do see an alert in red, don't panic! It's easy to troubleshoot and resolve the issue, and the account page will offer some clues to help you proceed. Usually it's as simple as waking up the device in question and/or launching the Lyve app on that device.
