This is the procedure for installing the Seagate Dashboard software on a Windows computer.

1. Connect the Seagate Backup Plus drive to the computer.
2. Open (My) Computer.
3. Double-click on the Backup Plus drive.
   
   
    
4. Double-click the Seagate Dashboard Installer.exe file on the drive.
   
   
    
5. Follow the prompts and the software will guide you through finishing the installation.
   It may ask if you want to reboot your computer. Please save any documents you are working on, close any open programs, and click Yes.
6. You must reboot your computer to complete the installation.
